I like to keep hard boiled eggs around for snacking, or to add protein to salads. I usually make them in batches and keep them in the fridge throughout the week. This easy air fryer recipe can allow you to keep them on-hand all the time.
When it comes to nutrition information, a hard boiled egg contains just 78 calories, less than one carb, and six grams of protein. This makes eggs a simple and inexpensive way to get your protein. I like to eat them as a snack sometimes, or mix them with mayo and serve them on slices of my homemade no-knead baguettes for lunch.
An easy way to make the perfect hard boiled egg is to air fry it. Check out the recipe below to find out how you can cook your eggs without any boiling water, pots, pans or mess.
Air Fryer Hard Boiled Eggs Recipe

The only ingredients you need for air frying are the eggs. Start by preheating the air fryer to 270 degrees. Note: You don’t need an expensive air fryer for this. I have a Chefman that was under $60 and the eggs always come out perfectly.
Then place your eggs in the air fryer basket, allowing for at least an inch of space between eggs. In our air fryer, this allowed for us to comfortably place six eggs.
The cooking time for air fryer eggs will be 15 minutes if you enjoy a hard boiled egg, but if you prefer a soft boiled egg, you can set the air fryer timer for just 10 minutes.
During cooking, you may hear your eggs moving around, but that didn’t seem to impact the integrity of the shells or the cooking time.
When the cook time is up, remove the eggs from the air fryer using a pot holder or gloves, and then immediately place them in an ice water bath for two to three minutes.
After that, remove the cold eggs so you can peel them, store them in the refrigerator, whip up some deviled eggs, create an egg salad sandwich, or dye them for Easter eggs.
